About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in maintaining reliable, secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure and applications that support our customers. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to drive operational excellence and scale our AWS footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our customers
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive operational excellence and scalability
- Build tools and processes to improve incident management and reduce manual toil
- Develop and maintain cloud-first monitoring, logging, and alerting infrastructure
- Participate in on-call rotations and drive problem-solving from end to end
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and assess new technologies to improve our infrastructure
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working with cloud technologies in Production Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or DevOps equivalent roles
- Demonstrated experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code principles and development
- Knowledge of IP networking, DNS, CDN, load balancing, HTTP, and firewalls
- Experience building and maintaining cloud-first monitoring, logging, and alerting infrastructure
- Participating in on-call rotations
- Experience with container technology using Docker and Kubernetes
- Ability to write high-quality code in a high-level programming language
