SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in the implementation, design, configuration, and support of JD Edwards applications. This role involves gathering and organizing business requirements, analyzing data needs, conducting systems analysis, and facilitating development, testing, and delivery processes.
The successful candidate will oversee and support all stages of the system development life cycle for JD Edwards applications. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering and supporting Tier-One ERP applications. A solid foundation in project management principles and practices is also required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and lead meetings with functional users and business stakeholders to document processes and gather functional requirements.
- Expertly troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective resolution strategies.
- Conduct analysis and design activities for modules and applications to be implemented.
- Enhance and modify JD Edwards applications following established methodologies.
- Utilize expertise to propose and support business improvements.
- Coordinate quality assurance efforts by developing and executing comprehensive test plans.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
- Create detailed user documentation for deployed modules, applications, and processes.
- Design and configure automated workflows for business processes.
- Ensure system signoff and compliance with change management protocols.
- Investigate and resolve help desk issues related to the core JD Edwards application.
- Collaborate effectively with all teams, even those outside the formal chain of command.
- Assist in project management activities, including status reporting and documentation of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a business and/or project analyst with Tier-One ERP applications, preferably Oracle Enterprise One (JD Edwards).
- At least 10 years of experience delivering JD Edwards application solutions or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, quality assurance, and implementation of Tier-One ERP systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of ERP methodologies.
- Experience integrating enterprise application solutions such as DSI, EDI, Salesforce, and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of JD Edwards Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, and Inventory modules is required.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards Finance Modules is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks. The employee may occasionally need to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regular lifting of up to 5 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds may be necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Significant digital dexterity is required for computer use, and effective oral communication is essential for performing job duties.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment typically features moderate noise levels, primarily in an open office setting. Some tasks may require working in operational units, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and hearing protection. Employees may also encounter outdoor elements and may need to use stairs and elevators.
