Position Overview:
Are you a personable individual with a passion for customer engagement? If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy assisting clients, a role with an independent contractor agent affiliated with Desjardins may be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate potential leads, arrange meetings, assess client requirements, and promote suitable insurance products and services.
- Deliver timely, precise, and courteous customer support. This includes addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility criteria, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in sales (whether in outside sales, inside sales, retail, or telemarketing).
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and listening.
- Proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to present information effectively to prospective clients.
- Property & Casualty license is preferred (must be obtainable).
- LLQP license is required.
This position is with an independent contractor agent who is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network. Employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. The independent contractor agent is responsible for all employment decisions regarding their staff.
