Job Summary

The Staffing Clerk is a key member of the Human Resource team at Prairie Mountain Health, responsible for coordinating the scheduling of staff, managing scheduling changes, and editing time card data. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless staffing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate replacement staff for vacation, sick leave, statutory holidays, and other approved absences, in consultation with managers and HR policies.
  • Communicate schedule changes to affected departments and teams.
  • Collaborate with HR and managers to resolve staffing issues and concerns.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly schedules as required.
  • Process and enter time card edits accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare shift schedules in accordance with collective agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of schedule changes and staff replacements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by HR.

Requirements and Qualifications

This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling, HR, or a related field, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
