About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Water, Wastewater and Infrastructure. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in the development and implementation of our water and wastewater operations strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to our water and wastewater operations teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our water and wastewater operations, including the development of capital projects and budgets.
  • Collaborate with our Capex and Property Operations teams to ensure that our water and wastewater operations are aligned with our business objectives and goals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our water and wastewater operations teams, including the development of training programs and the implementation of performance management systems.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for improving our water and wastewater operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in water and wastewater operations.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detailed understanding of local Agency Codes and Standards is considered essential.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with technical, business, and project management teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products and AutoCad or equivalent.
  • Candidate holding an Ontario Class 3 water and/or sewer certificate or equivalent is considered an asset.
