Job Summary

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating passenger and light truck tires and wheels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, balance, and rotate passenger and light truck tires and wheels
  • Complete and maintain various safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
  • Ensure a safe working environment and maintain tire service equipment on a regular basis
  • Complete specialty tire work, including studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
  • Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
  • Provide exceptional customer service and take pride in keeping customers safe and on the road

Working Conditions

  • Work in a team environment with a focus on hard work, concise communication, and clear heads
  • Perform in-shop work and service truck calls
  • Participate in after-hours service calls
  • Consistently lift weights up to approximately 100lbs
  • Work in unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy, and other challenging conditions
  • Stand, crouch, or kneel nearly constantly

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of tire experience, with commercial and OTR experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
