Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Childventures Early Learning Academy Inc.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and organized daycare environment
  • Maintain and prepare educational materials and equipment
  • Assist in planning and implementing educational programs and activities
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various mediums
  • Engage children in activities that promote physical activity and gross motor skills
  • Guide children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to lift and move children and equipment
