About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at THE FT. ST. JAMES SKI CLUB. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, preparing and serving food, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Prepare and cook simple food items, such as soups, salads, and sandwiches
  • Operate dishwashers and wash dishes by hand
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders and serving food
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Reliability and punctuality
