We are seeking a highly motivated and specialized individual with a passion for energy efficiency to join our team as an Energy Solutions Engineer. You will play a crucial role in reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by developing innovative solutions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough equipment surveys within buildings
  • Perform comprehensive energy balance analyses
  • Calculate precise energy savings projections
  • Develop detailed financial models (NPV) to assess project viability
  • Provide guidance and supervision to consultant teams
  • Collaborate with the market development team to identify and pursue new opportunities, tailoring solutions to meet specific client needs.
How You Will Succeed
  • Lead data collection and modeling efforts for assigned projects
  • Spearhead or support the development of large-scale projects (>$5M)
  • Validate assumptions made during solution design
  • Construct detailed project budgets and scopes
  • Work closely with operations teams and external partners to develop project estimates, scope of work, and energy savings/financing models (ROI) for assigned projects.
  • Assist in preparing compelling proposals and client communication documents.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Has 5+ years of experience in building systems design/sales, energy modeling, construction, or facilities management
  • Holds relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., professional engineering license, CEM, LEED, CMVP, CBCP)
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams
  • Exhibits excellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Is willing to travel within Quebec (2-3 day trips per month).
