About the RoleThis permanent full-time hybrid position is located in Mississauga, Ontario, and reports to the Director of Operations and Donor Care. As a Bilingual Sponsor Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating and maintaining child and sponsor records, generating and analyzing reports, and connecting sponsors to available children.
Key Responsibilities- Child and Sponsor Record Administration: Ensure the quality of child letters and photos meets guidelines, enter child and sponsor information accurately into Raiser's Edge, and maintain data records.
- Field Partner Relations: Communicate with external project partners regarding child applications, updates, and correspondence.
- Communications: Coordinate newsletter content, assemble newsletters, and provide general training to global workers and contacts.
- Sponsor Care: Manage sponsor accounts, respond to inquiries, and educate sponsors about the impact of their generosity.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English (written and oral)
- Prior experience working in an administrative support setting
- Accurate data entry skills and experience working with Raiser's Edge NXT software
- Demonstrated computer skills and aptitude in Microsoft programs and cloud-based systems
- Ability to make quality decisions and work collaboratively in a team environment
