Job Title: Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver to join our team at Bulk Carriers (P.E.I.) Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across international routes. This is a permanent position requiring a valid AZ class license and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across international routes.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Load and unload goods, and transport and handle dangerous goods.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as required.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license.
  • Valid passport.
  • Driver's validity license check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Work Environment:
