Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and assess financial statements for various divisions and departments
  • Examine variances in profit and loss
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for external audits
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members
  • Deliver insights regarding CRA regulations
  • Identify and address internal process deficiencies while suggesting improvements
  • Conduct detailed operational analysis of financial data
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and create journal entries
  • Collaborate with various divisions for intercompany transactions
  • Support ongoing initiatives for process enhancement

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting
  • Preferred professional accounting designation
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant or Financial Analyst role
  • Solid grasp of financial metrics and corporate finance principles
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
