Chief Risk Officer

Fidelity Clearing Canada is seeking a highly skilled Chief Risk Officer to oversee the risk function and provide strategic direction for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the management of significant risk issues and events, including assessment, root cause analysis, communication, and review of remediation actions.
- Develop and present regular reporting to senior management, the Risk and Controls Committee, and the Audit Committee on the status of risk programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational risks are properly assessed and mitigated.
- Communicate risk programs and initiatives effectively across the organization and provide training as required.
- University degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in risk management and risk programs.
- Prior experience in a compliance and back-office operations role.
- Professional designation or certificate in risk management or internal control.
- CA designation is considered an asset.
