Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Labourer to join our team at Canada Inc/Rockmore Landscaping. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are well-maintained and looking their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and maintain grass and other vegetation
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and debris
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
  • Lay sod or seed to ensure a lush and healthy lawn
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our grounds
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will be required to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials as needed.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
Language and Work Term

This role requires the ability to communicate in French and is a temporary position. You will be required to work 40 hours per week.
