Position Overview
This role involves delivering therapeutic services to clients referred by various governmental agencies as part of a collaborative team. Key responsibilities include: administering and interpreting standardized psychological assessment tools, creating personalized treatment plans based on evaluated needs, and providing evidence-based psychological interventions. Additional related tasks may be assigned as necessary.
Program Overview
The Operational Stress Injury (OSI) Clinic is an outpatient facility supported by governmental funding, dedicated to assisting former and current military personnel, as well as law enforcement members, who are experiencing operational stress injuries and require specialized assessment and treatment.Qualifications & Experience:
  • Graduated from an accredited degree program in Psychology. A Master's Degree is required; a PhD is preferred.
  • Registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
  • Proven experience in providing effective individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Experience working with military or law enforcement personnel is preferred.
  • Background in treating anxiety disorders, including PTSD, is preferred.
