Our portfolio includes notable projects such as Tesoro, North Harbour, Emerson, and Axis, with many more on the horizon.

Internship Overview

At Bosa Construction, we are dedicated to offering students an internship experience that goes beyond mere observation. We encourage students to engage actively, ask questions, and pursue their career aspirations in a stimulating environment.

This summer, we are pleased to present an internship opportunity within our Formwork team. The selected Project Coordinator, Formwork, Summer Intern will collaborate with seasoned industry professionals in project management and estimating, gaining insights into all facets of the concrete formwork process. As a vital trade partner on high-rise construction sites, the Formwork team significantly contributes to the overall success of projects. Throughout this internship, you will have the opportunity to learn how to:

  • Collaborate effectively with and inspire a team of subcontractors, engineers, and external consultants;
  • Document data, track project progress, and report productivity to management and general contractors;
  • Analyze designs and apply construction methodologies to assist in preconstruction and estimating;
  • Interpret and organize all general and technical specifications, drawings, contracts, and construction documents;

Please note that internship start dates are flexible to accommodate students' schedules.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a certificate, diploma, or degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Operations, or a related discipline;
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with all levels of management;
  • A strong work ethic characterized by proactivity, independence, eagerness to learn, resourcefulness, and commitment;
  • Familiarity with Procore, Excel, MS Project, Bluebeam, Revit, and other construction-related software;
  • Previous site experience, particularly in formwork, will be regarded as an asset.
