We are currently seeking a forward-thinking senior Human Resource (HR) professional to join our team as an HR Business Partner. In this role, you will report to the People Director for Canada and collaborate closely with the Managing Directors and Senior Leadership Teams for the areas you support. Additionally, you will be an integral part of the People Leadership Team in Canada and the broader global People community.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic counsel and guidance to the senior leadership team on people and culture matters. You will play a key role in developing and executing our strategic people plan to support our plans for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives in Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Learning and Development, and Change Management to build the future workforce in your areas of focus
  • Partner with client executives and senior teams to address people issues and risks, involving appropriate resources for solutions
  • Foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in talent management and succession planning
  • Align the people strategy with business priorities and overall company strategy
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver on business goals and objectives
  • Contribute to developing and implementing Canadian strategies in alignment with the corporate strategy
  • Provide leadership to help execute the people strategy and plan

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of HR experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a passion for positive change
  • Experience in a large, complex environment
  • Strategic partnering and commercial mindset
