Profile

We are looking for a Dietetic Technician to join our Food Services team at the CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal. As a Dietetic Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and updating user files in the dietary information system by collecting data through various tools (preference and aversion questionnaires, follow-up questionnaires, etc.);
  • Regularly visiting users and providing relevant nutritional information to users and families, and evaluating customer satisfaction;
  • Adjusting user menus based on requests and nutritional treatments communicated by the nutritionist, nurse, or doctor;
  • Preparing nutritional balance sheets and entering data into the menu management software in collaboration with dietitians-nutritionists;
  • Ensuring the follow-up of supplement consumption in collaboration with healthcare staff;
  • Participating in the control of food temperatures, portion sizes, organoleptic qualities, and food safety of served dishes;
  • Filling out quality audits at the kitchen and dining areas and submitting them to the service chief for follow-up and continuous improvement;
  • Accompanying new employees and interns in their learning and participating in related activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in dietetics from a recognized school by the competent ministry;
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written French;
  • Experience working in the healthcare and social services network (asset);
  • Knowledge of Winvision, Promenu, or Microgesta software (asset);
