About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at IJW Recruitment Solutions Inc. as a Home Care and Visiting Care Agency Nurse. This is a permanent position that requires a high level of expertise and compassion in providing nursing services to patients in their homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care to patients in their homes and community settings.
  • Deliver safety and health education to individuals and their families, promoting healthy living and disease prevention.
  • Assess patients' needs and develop care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client-centered care.
