Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-informed services to individuals, groups, or communities, with a focus on occupational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct service, consultation, education, and advocacy to clients and families.
  • Engage individuals, groups, and communities to enable meaningful and chosen occupations.
  • Support clients to achieve optimum functional abilities and independence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, families, and other stakeholders to advance services.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and participate in peer mentoring and supervising students.
Requirements
  • Completion of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
  • Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle are required for this position.
  • Heart & Stroke: BCLS-HCP certification required.
  • Current AADL Authorizer preferred.
