About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at EASTMAN LOGISTICS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure the efficient operation of our transportation department.

Coordinate Logistics Activities

Organize and coordinate logistics activities, including the planning and execution of transportation routes, schedules, and cargo handling.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Organize and maintain inventory, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Lead and Develop Team Members

Co-ordinate, assign, and review work, conduct performance reviews, and provide guidance and support to team members.

Ensure Compliance and Quality

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of logistics operations.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Computer Skills

Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 to 35 hours per week. The language of work is English.
