Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Shajeela's Kitchen LTD. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including South Indian and Halal cuisine, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training and supervising cooks, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes, and maintain a high level of culinary innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in culinary arts or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate and other relevant certifications.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
