Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Thai Ivory Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Job Summary:
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook meals for our customers.
  • Plan and implement menus, ensuring that they are creative, delicious, and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Work closely with our management team to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
  • Order supplies and equipment.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas.
  • Manage kitchen operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
