Job Title: Warehouse Operations Specialist
Company: Johnson Controls
Reports To: Warehouse Team Lead
Overview: As a Warehouse Operations Specialist at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. This includes receiving, storing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Package and deliver parts to customers
- Perform quality inspections to ensure product integrity
- Assist with inventory management and control
- Store materials and supplies in a safe and organized manner
- Ensure accurate inventory levels and report any discrepancies
- Participate in warehouse clean-up and maintenance activities
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols
- Perform other duties as needed to support warehouse operations
Requirements:
- Equipment operation and maintenance skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to identify and report defects or quality issues
- Knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
- Commercial/industrial environment with potential for overtime
- Exercise caution for hazards and adhere to safety policies
- May be required to work in uncomfortable or challenging work settings
