Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure that they are prepared to the highest standards.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Administrative Tasks
- Establish work schedules and manage staff rotas to ensure that the food service department is adequately staffed at all times.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience
- Experience in a food service environment is an asset.
