Job Title: Experienced Police Officer

Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced police officer to join our team. As a police officer with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce laws and maintain order in the community
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to those in need
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence
  • Build relationships with community members and provide support and guidance
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 education
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Must be a graduate of a recognized Canadian police training program
  • Have no criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted and have no criminal charges pending before the courts
  • Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia driver's license or equivalent from another Canadian province
