Halifax Regional Municipality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced police officer to join our team. As a police officer with the Halifax Regional Police, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community members.
Key Responsibilities:- Enforce laws and maintain order in the community
- Investigate crimes and gather evidence
- Provide support and assistance to victims of crime
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to achieve common goals
- Grade 12 education
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Must be a graduate of a recognized Canadian police training program
- Have no criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted and have no criminal charges pending before the courts
- Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia driver's license or equivalent from another Canadian province
- A competitive salary starting at $67,111.88 per year
- A comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation and sick leave
