Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at BC Housing. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as dusting and polishing surfaces.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use associated tools and cleaning materials.
  • Change light bulbs and perform other related duties as required.
  • Drive the Employer's vehicle when necessary.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
