- Experience: No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
- Work will take place at various sites, including construction zones.
- Expect exposure to heights, confined spaces, and potentially noisy and dusty conditions.
- Outdoor work is a regular part of the job.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood and lightweight steel.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roofing systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures in various settings.
Public transportation options are available for commuting to job sites.
Physical Requirements- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
- Must be capable of handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory.
- A hard hat and safety glasses/goggles are required for safety.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
