About Seequent

Seequent is a world-leading subsurface software company that helps create a better understanding of the earth to ensure a better world for all.

We are constantly evolving at the forefront of technology to transform how geo-professionals work, eliminating barriers to understanding by connecting software, teams, and the tools they need.

Our customers in over 100 countries work to develop mineral resources more sustainably, design and build better infrastructure, protect the environment, source renewable energy, and help resolve historical challenges such as groundwater contamination and ageing infrastructure.

We are headquartered in New Zealand with global reach, and we are part of Bentley Systems.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced People Success Lead to join our passionate and collaborative People team. As a key member of our human resources team, you will be the team lead responsible for supporting and advising on the strategic workforce objectives of your dedicated business unit.

You will report to the Global People Success Manager and lead a team of human resources professionals in employee relations, talent acquisitions, and support roles. You will have the opportunity to build partnerships across the People function and play a crucial role in shaping and executing strategic talent plans.

Day-to-day, you will provide strategic insight and guidance, as well as create and lead projects focused on talent development, talent acquisition, rewards, and recognition. As an integral part of your business unit's leadership team, the work you do will have real impact on the experience of our People.

A Day in the Life

  • Strategically partner with the Senior Leadership team of your dedicated business unit, with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
  • Lead a small team of human resources professionals in employee relations, talent acquisitions, and support roles to ensure employee relations practices, policies, and recruiting efforts are aligned with the strategy and support business needs.
  • Promote and develop a culture that aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Drive succession and workforce planning efforts.
  • Optimize the design of the organizational structure.
  • Utilize key metrics to design solutions that enhance the overall health of the business unit.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivating team environment.
  • Regularly conduct performance reviews and inspire your team to meet their goals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar People leadership role within a global setting.
  • Sound working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment law.
  • Exceptional professionalism, stakeholder management abilities, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization with a strong customer service focus.
  • Strong global and cultural awareness, and a commitment to upholding ethical practices in all your actions.

We are committed to hiring a diverse team and encourage individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to apply.

Why You Will Enjoy Working with Us

You will be joining a highly skilled, highly productive team of technical experts who are passionate about what we do. We are a friendly, intelligent, and supportive bunch, and we are looking forward to you bringing your expertise to the team.

Our wider team is geographically diverse and from multi-disciplines, so even though you will be based in Canada, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from across the globe.

Inclusion + Diversity

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible experience. If you require an accommodation for any part of the recruitment process, please let us know and we will work with you to meet your needs.
