Overview

The Law Society of Ontario is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) team. This role plays a crucial part in understanding program performance, customer behavior, and market trends within the legal education sector.

Job Purpose

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to CPD programs, sales, and customer engagement. Your insights will inform strategic marketing decisions, drive program improvements, and contribute to the overall success of our CPD initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather comprehensive data on CPD programs, customer demographics, sales performance, and website traffic.
  • Analyze data trends, identify patterns, and generate insightful reports to inform marketing strategies and program development.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop action plans based on data-driven insights, aiming to enhance program effectiveness and increase customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the IT department to access and utilize relevant databases and reporting tools.
  • Provide support to the Marketing team on special projects as needed, leveraging your analytical skills to contribute to broader marketing objectives.
Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for data-driven decision making.

  • A university degree with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, database applications, and web analytics tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing analysis, preferably within the legal education or professional development sector.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, particularly in targeted dissemination of specialized products.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Working Arrangement

The Law Society of Ontario has implemented a Distributed Workforce Model. This role is classified as hybrid, involving a combination of remote and office work. Specific details will be provided to applicants during the recruitment process.
