About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Operating Supplies and Equipment (OS&E) team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our product strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain sample catalogues for all products
  • Manage the Research and Discovery (R&D) studio and reference library
  • Request and receive samples from suppliers
  • Support project and process needs, including creating presentations and requesting information from properties
  • Issue designer feedback and maintain/update lists of pre-qualified designers across commodities
  • On-board new designers across all commodities
  • Vet new designers, issue Requests For Information (RFIs), and update designer portfolios
  • SOURCE new OS&E vendors, focusing on product and regional gaps

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Graduate in design discipline
  • Experience in luxury product development
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Microsoft Project) or similar
  • Financial acumen and understanding of hospitality project costs
