About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Canada. As an Intermediate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating civil engineering projects, including track grading, site grading, and road design. You will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop civil engineering designs for various projects, including site grading, track grading, and road design.
  • Contribute to the preparation of civil deliverables, drawings, and details from conception to final design.
  • Drive design phases and implement design standards on rail and transit projects.
  • Review and prepare models and drawings, collaborating with other engineers and designers.
  • Communicate with project team members to ensure effective and timely flow of project information.
  • Maintain contact with sub-consultants, municipalities, and clients.
  • Prepare reports and contract documents for review agencies, clients, and the public.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 6+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Ontario designation required (or eligible).
  • Proven record of site grading, site servicing, drainage, and access road design using Civil3D software.
  • Experience with corridor and pipe network module in Civil3D.
  • Superior attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software.
