Job Title: Vice President

Join the Government of Canada - Central team as a Vice President, responsible for leading the organization's operations and IT infrastructure.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill this key leadership position. As a Vice President, you will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing objectives, and formulating policies and programs to drive the organization's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff and delegate necessary authority
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • Analyze financial records to assess competitiveness or market value
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement marketing and advertising and sales strategies
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts
  • Establish financial and administrative controls and approve promotional campaigns
Requirements
  • Computer and technology knowledge
  • MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Area of specialization: Operations management
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires working on-site. The successful candidate will be expected to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
