Starlight Investments, in conjunction with WP Osborne Executive Search, is seeking a seasoned Executive Vice President, Development to lead our Canadian residential development division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our development projects, from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for development projects, aligning with the company's goals and growth objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of development and investment professionals, including project managers, planners, architects, city and government officials, and other key personnel.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of development projects, including site acquisition, project planning, design, approvals, and final delivery.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and industry partners.
- Provide oversight and guidance on project budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations, including zoning laws, building codes, and environmental requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in real estate investment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role related to managing Canadian residential development.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and team management.
- Strategic thinker and creative problem solver with a commitment to excellence.
- Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Superior financial acumen, including budgeting and financial analysis.
