Key Responsibilities
  • Human Resources Policy Development

Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

Employee Relations and Advice

Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.

Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner.

Research and Analysis

Conduct research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to support business decisions.

Benefits Administration

Administer benefit programs, including employment equity and other human resources programs.

Performance Management

Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee growth and development.

Training and Development

Develop and implement training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Employee Benefits and Health and Safety

Research and recommend changes to employee benefits and health and safety practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure effective team performance.

Collective Bargaining

Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 32-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.
