Position: Home Care Worker

Education Requirements: Completion of secondary school is essential.

Work Environment

Responsibilities will take place in the homes of clients or employers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as needed.
  • Assist clients with their personal hygiene routines.
  • Support clients in maintaining regular physical activity.
  • Handle laundry and manage clothing and linens.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment.
  • Deliver personal care services tailored to individual needs.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for clients.
Target Demographic
  • Adults, specifically male clients.
  • Individuals with intellectual and mental health challenges.
Relevant Experience

Familiarity with behavior disorders is preferred.

Transportation Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to personal transportation.

Physical and Work Conditions
  • Role involves a mix of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Fast-paced work environment with potential for overtime.
  • Repetitive tasks may be required, along with the ability to work under pressure.
