Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate in an Agile, highly interactive, cross-functional environment where we prioritize embedding quality at every stage of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated tests for RESTful web services utilizing a C#-based testing framework.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to continuously enhance frameworks, methodologies, and processes related to Quality Management, test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Engage directly in Agile product development, including analyzing requirements, planning tests based on those requirements, and developing test cases.
  • Conduct exploratory manual, functional, and regression testing, performing root cause analysis on defects and generating clear, concise bug reports.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers and customer support teams to identify, document, analyze, prioritize, and resolve defects.
  • Provide mentorship to team members through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Educational and Professional Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in a high-level programming language (C# preferred), such as Java, Objective-C, C#, C/C++, or Python.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
  • 7+ years of relevant experience; 2-3 years at a Senior level or equivalent experience (Preferred).
  • Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE (Preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, including feature analysis, test planning, test case creation, and defect reporting.
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation for web or mobile applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience in performance and load testing is preferred.
