We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and customer loyalty.
- Operations and Administration
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Recruitment and Hiring
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to meet business needs and ensure a high-performing team.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds to meet the physical demands of the role.
- Personal Qualities and Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
