Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Jun Landscaping & Construction Corp.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of landscape construction projects, including the supervision of staff and the management of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to project timelines.
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to meet project demands, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features, ensuring compliance with design specifications and building codes.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in landscape construction, with a focus on project management and supervision.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Proficiency in the use of backhoe, chain saw, pick-up truck, small engine equipment, sod cutter, and skidsteer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high expectations.
