Job Summary:
As the Automotive Shop Supervisor at ANDRITZ AG, you will oversee the daily operations of the Refiner Service center for Refiner and auxiliary equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Daily Operations: Ensure the site, equipment, and employees are all operating in compliance with current health and safety rules and regulations.
- Refurbishment and Rebuilding: Oversee the refurbishment and rebuilding of refiner components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians and staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Inventory Management: Supervise the shipping department, ensuring timely receipt and shipment of items, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Project Management: Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project targets are met, including labor efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
- Production Scheduling: Maintain production schedule priorities by closely monitoring project timelines and actively participating in production meetings to ensure alignment with overall project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or service-related background in close-tolerance machining, metal working, materials, capital planning.
- SAP experience strongly preferred.
