The Calgary Office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP is in search of a driven associate to enhance our Financial Services Group, a specialized division within our National Business Law Group.

The successful candidate will be licensed to practice law in Alberta and possess the following qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of post-call experience in financial services, encompassing acquisition financing, corporate lending transactions, project financing, and various debt financing operations;
  • Outstanding academic achievements and professional credentials;
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and drafting abilities;
  • Proven dedication to teamwork and excellence in client service.

Our firm boasts a leading lending practice and has been consistently acknowledged in Canada for our superior financial services expertise, as recognized by esteemed publications such as Chambers Global, Chambers Canada, Legal 500, and Lexpert. Our clientele includes both domestic and international banks, insurance firms, near banks, finance companies, smaller financial service providers, institutional investors, borrowers, and project developers.
