MD Law Group is seeking a highly skilled Family Law Professional

This is a full-time role for a Family Law Associate for our office located in downtown Calgary, Alberta. The Family Lawyer will work closely with clients to resolve family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and child support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing clients with expert legal advice and guidance.
  2. Drafting and preparing legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  3. Representing clients in court with confidence and poise.
  4. Negotiating settlements with skill and tact.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Law Society of Alberta or good standing within a Canadian Law Society with the ability to be called in Alberta.
  • Experience with family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and child support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
