About the Role:

Lush is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Experience:
    • Collaborate with your team to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer feels welcome, valued, and supported.
    • Build brand awareness and educate customers on our values, products, and services.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, including skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the business.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
    • Coach and mentor team members to achieve their full potential, providing regular feedback and support.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Support the Shop Manager in maintaining a high-performing store, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and driving sales growth.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Manage inventory, stock, and visual merchandising to ensure a consistent and appealing customer experience.
    • Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain accurate stock levels, manage ordering, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Qualifications:
    • 1-3 years of experience in retail management or supervision.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
