Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team at Gallagher. As a Personal Lines Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and handling their insurance needs with expertise and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding day-to-day service to clients and manage their insurance files to maintain retention targets
  • Acquire expiry dates at time of policy renewal and identify opportunities to place new business
  • Attain premium growth targets by cross-selling and up-selling appropriate coverages and new business binds
  • Maintain professional relationships with key underwriters to ensure maximization of new business growth and retention opportunities
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in personal insurance
  • A valid RIBO license or willingness to acquire within 3 months
  • CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation or working towards completion is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • The ability to adapt to and work collaboratively with various individuals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience with Broker Management Systems like EPIC and rating engines is an asset
