Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, collect relevant information, and develop effective care plans to address their needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Nursing Interventions: Provide evidence-based nursing interventions to promote patient recovery, safety, and well-being.
- Education and Support: Teach patients and families about health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques to empower them in their healthcare journey.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information, assessments, and care plans to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Possess excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
