About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Slave Lake. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge in food preparation, customer service, and teamwork.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Work with our inventory management team to estimate and manage our food and supply inventory, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food meets our high standards, and that our customers receive excellent service.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules for our food service staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Work Environment: Our food service department is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and quality food products.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
