Consumer Proposal Administrator (Meeting of Creditors)

Farber, a leading debt solution provider, is seeking a skilled Consumer Proposal Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our insolvency administration team, you will play a critical role in helping individuals and businesses navigate the debt resolution process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate consumer proposal terms with clients and creditors within legal frameworks and time constraints.
  • Chair meetings of creditors, prepare minutes, and review relevant documents for accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Prepare and review amended documentation for filing with the Official Receiver and associated correspondence.
  • Obtain supporting information and documentation to ensure efficient administration of files.
  • Liaise with administration and front-office teams to obtain information and documentation.
  • Prepare and review files for completeness and follow up on outstanding documents.
  • Understand relevant legal requirements of multiple provincial jurisdictions.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in insolvency administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience in insolvency administration and/or customer service is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and third parties.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High computer literacy and ability to learn new programs.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills to work with team members, staff, and clients.
