Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, as well as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Pre-trip and Post-trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Transportation Experience: Have local transportation experience, with a strong understanding of road networks and traffic patterns.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines, and be physically able to walk and perform other job-related tasks.
