Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to our retail locations, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trailers before and after each trip, reporting any defects promptly.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trailers efficiently and safely.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Navigate various road conditions and environments while operating the delivery vehicle responsibly.
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and conduct routine inspections as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver, preferably in the food distribution industry.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a self-motivated work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of safe driving and adherence to traffic regulations.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and handling merchandise.

Work Environment:

The Delivery Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, often exposed to varying weather conditions. The schedule may require flexibility to accommodate the needs of the business.
